FAQs
Every situation is unique; we quote anything from small residential projects to commercial building projects. Fill out the form below or give us a call so we can get you an estimate.
Is there any special tooling needed to install your systems?
If you choose to use a combination of our swivel system and our self-grip system, you will need cutters to
cut the wire rope, and a drill. We also have the necessary drill bits available for purchase. We provide the drill bits needed. Drilling templates and cutters are available
for rent or purchase.
If you choose to use our blind solid receiver for metal systems, you will need a hand or battery swager.
We have those available for rent as well.
What kind of maintenance is required for your system?
We find that in some regions, you may need to wipe down the wire rope and fittings from time to time in
order for them to keep their shine. We provide this on our website, but any stainless steel cleaner should
do the trick.
How much are your systems?
Because of the many possibilities and combinations you can use for our system, we prefer to quote
based on project. Give us a call or submit this form to get a quote!
Does your system meet code?
Our cable systems meet most cable railing code, however, check with your local building codes to ensure
you are in compliance. Some areas may completely restrict use of cable railing, and in some areas, wire
rope spacing varies from the conventional 4” spacing. Most cable railing requires no more than 225lbs of
strength; however, ours is all tested to withhold a minimum of 450lbs for added strength.
How is your pricing compared to traditional railing systems?
Our cable railing is more expensive than your traditional wood post and picket railings, but it is close to
the cost of traditional metal railings.
